La Présence d’un Rêve

With his third studio album La Présence d’un Rêve, DeLange embarked on a new journey. Experimenting with new sounds and refraining from adding electronics, he recorded new compositions for piano accompanied by a horn quartet. The album was released on October 25th of last year.

About La Présence d’un Rêve DeLange says: “I’ve often envisioned additional colors while playing the piano, but couldn’t quite identify their corresponding sounds. This changed when I began experimenting with brass in my arrangements. The horns softly accompany the piano in the background and at times, they answer its melodic questions. This opened up a world of possibilities, making me curious and excited about the newly found combination of piano and four French horns.”
