As a child I was always mesmerised by the vastness of the universe. My dad used to take me outside to watch the night sky through a telescope. He taught me the names and the mythology of the constellations. Orion the warrior, queen Cassiopeia, half-man-half-horse Centaurus and… the seven daughters of Pleione: Pleiades.

‘Pleiades’ is a pianosolo piece in 7/4 meter which sparked the idea of naming it after these Seven Sisters from ancient Greek mythology.
